Instructions
Season the chicken on both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the chicken and sear for 5 to 6 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in the chicken broth and scrape the brown bits from the bottom of the pan.
Add heavy cream and whisk until combined. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
If you prefer a thicker sauce, whisk flour or cornstarch with 2 tablespoons water and add to the skillet.
Return the chicken to the pan and simmer for 5 minutes until cooked through and the sauce thickens.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
